1. How do I sign up or register? 

Select Sign up from the main menu and fill out the user registration form. You will receive an email with a verification link. Once you have clicked on the link, you will be able to sign in.  

 

2. How do I log in? 

Select Login from the main menu. Enter your username and password and press “Login”.

 

3. Can’t log in or haven't received a verification email?

If you can't remember your password, click on "Forgot your password?". If you can't remember your username, click on "Forgot your username?" Please check your spam or junk mail folder. If your verification email still hasn’t come through after ten minutes, or you can't log in for any other reason, please call us on 1800 029 904.  

 

4. How do I post an ad? 

You must create a login and sign in. Use the "Post an ad" button found on the top left of the home page or in the main menu and fill out the form.  

 

5. How do I donate an item? 

You must create a login and sign in. Use the “Post an ad” button found on the top left of the home page or in the main menu and fill out the form. Select the category “Donated Equipment” from the drop-down when you fill out the form.  

 

6. How do I find an item? 

You can find items available to either keep or borrow by browsing the categories “Lend Equipment” or “Donated Equipment”. If you want to advertise that you are looking for a piece of equipment, you can post an ad in the “Wanted Equipment” category. 

 

7. How do I contact an advertiser? 

In some instances, advertisers will post their phone number or email address in the contact field. To view these details, you will need to be logged in to the site. Otherwise, you can use the contact form on the right-hand side of the ad.  

 

8. Are all items free? 

The items listed on this site have been donated or lent out for free for the use of people with disability affected by the current bushfire crisis throughout Australia. If you are looking to purchase second-hand disability aids, equipment, vehicles and properties, visit www.ebility.com  

 

9. How do I get an item? 

You must contact the advertiser to arrange to pick up or drop off for any advertised equipment. eBility is a classifieds site only and we do not handle the exchange of items or delivery.  

 

10. What is eBility? 

eBility is a classifieds marketplace for buying and selling disability-related equipment, vehicles and properties. You can visit www.ebility.com to browse our entire classifieds listings. The items listed on this site, however, have been donated or lent out for free for the use of people with disability affected by the current bushfire crisis throughout Australia.  

 

11. What is IDEAS? 

IDEAS stands for Information on Disability, Education and Awareness Services. We are a not for profit organisation which specialises in disability information. We can point you in the right direction to find services, supports, aids and equipment or anything you might need as a person with a disability.

You can call the IDEAS info line on 1800 029 904 or visit www.ideas.org.au and talk to us on live chat. Our information officers can help you find services and supports wherever you are. Open 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday.
